Given that I only left sixth form in 2016, I have been on a mission to empower teaching and learning through technology and have been incredibly privileged to work my way up the education ladder to senior management within an academy trust. Working in educational IT support over the past 8+ years has provided me with a vast range of skills from general IT support through to embedding technology into the curriculum. Moving into senior management has now opened the door wider to strategically leading an academy to enhance the overall use of technology throughout the schools, develop a digital vision along with leading infrastructure change to truly unlock learning for pupils and staff.

My aim is to work with as many schools as possible to share my knowledge and insights with a hope to make a positive change to the use of technology in all parts of education and to create a supportive, inclusive environment for all pupils to thrive in their learning.

Being part of the Microsoft MIE and Apple teacher programme has provided me with a wide knowledgeable base to create empowering CPD and inset sessions for staff around using technology to empower learning. As well as using my skill set to work with school/trust leadership to design their strategic vision and move into a transformative way of learning with PedTech.
