Special Egg Service Mission – Activity Overview

A STEM & Teamwork Challenge for Youth Community Groups

MISSION OBJECTIVE

To engage young people in a fun, team-based STEM activity that simulates a high-stakes special forces mission — using creativity, engineering, and problem-solving to safely parachute an egg operative (representing the Special Egg Service) into a drop zone without damage.

Participants will design and build parachutes and protective carriers to slow descent, absorb impact, and protect a raw egg during a drop — with a mix of military role-play and hands-on science.

Whether used as part of a larger STEM day, inter-group competition, or standalone youth engagement session, Operation: Special Egg Service is ideal for cadet units, scouts, schools, and other community organisations looking for an exciting and educational team challenge.

“Who Dares… Doesn’t Crack.”

Join the mission. Deliver the operative. Protect the yolk.
