Route 1 - Back to basics with Microsoft 365

This route consists of 4 sessions which are designed to take through your initial navigation around the Microsoft365 platform all the way through to streamlining communication and data collection. With technology playing a greater part in how school operate, now is the time to take full control of your cloud infrastructure and truly understand how to harness it's power to empower your day to day work!

These 4 modules are each 1:30hr long from start to finish and are presented over the course of 4 weeks allowing for time to take your new found power with Microsoft and implement it into your daily working.

Course Pre-Requisites

The only pre-requisites that we ask for to take part in this Digital pathway are:

A Microsoft school email account
Ability to access the Microsoft365 platform during the event
Willingness to learn!

Session 1 - Navigation and Understanding Microsoft365

In this session we will explore the Microsoft365 platform and take a deep dive into key applications. This session is a great entry level overview for the platform and to gain some more confidence on finding your way around.

Session 2 - Creating and Collaborating with Microsoft365

In this session we will look at creating documents within the Office Online platform and how it compares to document creation via the desktop applications. We will then look into real-time collaboration with colleagues and how we can share content quickly and easily.

Session 3 - Streamlining Communications with SharePoint & Teams

In education communication is vital, so in this session we will explore how we can harness the power of the Microsoft365 platform to streamline and empower our communcation both internally and externally. We will look into the SharePoint and Teams platforms and how they can be a hub for communication.

Session 4 - Data Collection and Analysis with Forms & Excel

In the final part of our digital pathway we will look into easy data collection and analysis with Microsoft Forms & Excel. We will explore some real world examples and get hands on with creating our own form with streamlined data analysis in Excel.
